SAN FRANCISCO, CA–(Dec 16, 2014) – LiquidM, the provider of the only white-labeled Mobile Advertising Management Platform (MAMP),
today announced the appointment of Philipp Simon, André Braeuer, and Thomas Hille as Managing Directors. The new leadership is
taking over from Christof Wittig, CEO, and Roi Chobadi, CPO, who co-founded LiquidM in 2013, as well as Julian Tol, CRO.
“In a short period we have reached a strong market position with LiquidM’s powerful mobile DSP platform,” says Philipp Simon,
who previously ran LiquidM’s European Business and is now heading up sales and services, while Andre Braeuer will be in charge
of finances. Thomas Hille, another co-founder and previously VP Engineering at LiquidM and now in charge of product and engineering, adds: “We’re focusing our business on the demand side aspects of the LiquidM solution to further extend our lead in the fast growing $50B mobile advertising market.”
LiquidM was founded in October 2013 as a technology spin off from Madvertise Mobile Advertising, a Berlin based mobile ad network, which Wittig took over as CEO in January 2013. Madvertise Media, Madvertise Italy, and its Mobilike subsidiary have in the meantime been sold to Mobile Network Group of France as well as to the management of Mobilike. LiquidM has since gained a strong customer base in Europe and US. It received funding from Earlybird, Asset Management and Max Thyssen.
“I have finished my job to restructure Madvertise and to get LiquidM going as a pure play technology provider,” says Wittig. “It is my great honor to hand over the responsibility to Thomas, André, and Philipp, whose experience and track record of success will with no doubt
further accelerate LiquidM’s growth.”
